Free Spirits Songwriting Workshop inspires kids ages 6-12 to pick up a guitar, grab a microphone, and start writing powerful, fun, original music.
Kids will be introduced to songwriters like Feist, Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, Neko Case and Frank Zappa while learning basic music theory, how to play guitar, and how to be a confident singer.
Our 12 week program is broken down into 2 six-week sessions. We meet at Complete Music Studios, a premiere rehearsal studio in the heart of Prospect Heights.
