PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — A French restaurant is close to opening on Park Slope's 5th Avenue.

Le Succulent, which advertises itself as a French bistro and bakery, held a soft opening on Friday last week. The restaurant has set up on 5th Avenue between 1st and 2nd streets.

"Park Slope 5th Avenue" community group posted online about the restaurant's "coming soon" sign earlier this month. The soft opening was also featured on the group's social media accounts.
