Identity Thief Withdraws $9K From Brooklyn And Queens Banks

The man visited five banks using other people's bank cards and walked away with $8,500.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN – Police are looking for a man who used other people's cards to take thousands of dollars out of banks in Brooklyn and Queens this summer.

The man visited the five banks between Aug. 16 and Aug. 31 using a duplicated bank card that belonged to various other people, police said. The withdrawals totaled about $8,500.

The banks include TD Bank on Bergen Street in Brooklyn, TD Bank on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn and three banks in Queens, both on Main Street and Myrtle Avenue.
