Haenyeo Staff Targeted By Park Slope Sneak Thief, Cops Say
The man walked into a closet at the popular Fifth Avenue Korean eatery last week and stole wallets from three workers, police said.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN â Park Slope's popular new Korean restaurant was targeted by a sneak thief who stole wallets from three employees last week, police said.
The man, caught on surveillance camera, walked into the closet inside Haenyeo on Fifth Avenue just before 7 p.m. last Wednesday, police said. He got passed an electronic keypad on the door and took the wallets of three employees, all of which had credit cards inside, police said.
The man seemingly noticed the closet when he was waiting for the bathrooms or after he had used the bathroom, video shows. He is seen peeking at the door and looking around him as he dries his hands.

Haenyeo, a Korean eatery, made headlines when it opened earlier this year. The restaurant has gotten high praise in the New York Times, Eater and GrubStreet.
