A native of Moscow, Anikushin began his piano studies at age five and by age eleven he entered the Moscow Conservatory where he studied
under the tutelage of Y.I. Batuyev. After immigrating to the USA in 1991, he
studied at the San Francisco Conservatory with Milton Salkind and
completed his Bachelor and Masters Degrees at Juilliard on full
scholarship as a student of Oxana Yablonskaya. He is currently enrolled in the
DMA program at The Manhattan School of Music as a student of Solomon
Mikowsky. Having performed around the world and winning numerous
awards, Anikushin has performed at local venues such as Alice
Tully Hall, Weill Recital Hall, Merkin Recital Hall, Steinway Hall, Bruno
Walter Auditorium, to name a few. The evening program includes works by C.P.E.
Bach, Chopin and Nino Rota with piano and organ. Join us for this
musical feast on the 329th birthday of J.S. Bach!
