McDonald's Burglars Grab Food Instead Of Cash In Park Slope
The thieves walked through an unlocked door at the Park Slope eatery on Christmas Day and left with $33 worth of foodstuffs.
PARK SLOPE, NY — McDonald's was not lovin' a group of hamburglars who tried to pry open their cash registers and grabbed free food to-go, police said.
The hungry McDonald's lovers strolled through an unlocked door at Ninth Street and Fifth Avenue fast food joint on Christmas Day, the NYPD said. The store was closed for the holiday.
Surveillance video shows they gathered around cash registers, which they couldn't open. Denied money, the thieves contented themselves with throwing garbage around the restaurant.
