Prospect Park To Get More Food Carts From Local Vendors
The Prospect Park Alliance is asking local vendors to apply for a spot in Brooklyn's backyard so it can expand the park's food options.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — Food carts may soon join staple concessions at Prospect Park, the Prospect Park Alliance announced today. The group is looking for local businesses to apply for a spot in Brooklyn's backyard.
"Prospect Park Alliance is seeking vendors that have the experience and skills necessary to operate quality food services at reasonable prices and enhance the experience of park users," the organizations said. "The Alliance is seeking vendors who can offer interesting, affordable and healthy food to complement the experience of park users."
The organization hopes the new businesses will expand food and drink offerings already in the park, including King David Tacos, concessions at the LeFrak Center for Lakeside and the Prospect Park Carousel and Parade Ground.
