A man who threw a plastic bottle which cut a MTA conductor's face on New Year's Eve remains unidentified, police said.

PARK SLOPE, NY — A man who threw a plastic bottle that cut a MTA conductor's face on New Year's Eve remains unidentified, police said.

The conductor — a woman, 28 — had to go to the hospital for the cut above her right eye, police said.

The incident unfolded in the waning minutes of 2019 on Dec. 31 in the Atlantic Avenue subway station, NYPD said. The conductor just pulled her 2 line train into the station at about 11:45 p.m. when a man threw a plastic bottle at her face, according to police.

The man ran toward the Q line and remains on the loose. Police with Park Slope's 78th Precinct ask people with information to 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or online.
