Nitehawk Prospect Park Wants To Host Your Next Party

The new dine-in theater is now available for private events, complete with a queso fountain and custom themed cocktails.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — The neighborhood's newest theater, open to moviegoers for just over a month, is now offering to host your next birthday party or even your wedding.

Nitehawk Cinema Prospect Park, the dine-in theater company's second outpost, launched private event rentals this week in its historic Pavilion Theater space.

“We have had huge success with these at Nitehawk Williamsburg, from world premieres, corporate outings, birthday parties to weddings and proposals," said Deanna Nokes, event director at Nitehawk. "...We’re excited to offer these memorable experiences at Prospect Park."

The dine-in theater's officially opened in late December in the 1928-building that once housed the Pavilion Theater. The 34,000-square-foot facility includes seven theaters, two bars and a mezzanine overlooking Prospect Park.

The theater uses a dedicated events team to put together the customizable events, Nokes added. Those interested can rent out one of the space's seven theaters Mondays through Thursdays for screenings, birthday parties, graduations, corporate meetings or other events, the company said.

Prices will vary based on each event.

Renters can also take advantage of Nitehawk's catering menu, which includes platters such as Grandma’s Meatballs, Jerk Chicken Dumplings, and Chorizo Patata Brava Taquitos. A queso fountain and signature cocktails, local beers or specialty drinks crafted for the event's theme are also available.
