NYPD Arrests School Safety Officer In Park Slope
Money reported stolen was not connected with the school where the officer worked, police said.
PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — An off-duty NYPD school safety agent found herself in handcuffs after accusations arose she stole money, authorities said.
Police in Park Slope on Monday arrested Jarilsa Gaton, 28, on suspicion of grand larceny and criminal possession of stolen property, authorities said.
Gaton is accused of stealing money, NYPD said. The cash isn't connected to her job working as a NYPD school safety agent, they said.
