Obsolete Cinema presents SOMETHING WEIRD!

On January 2, 2014, an Obsolete spiritual mentor left our planet too soon: Mike Vraney, founder of Something Weird Video and wrangler of some of the most inspiring lost cult classics of 20th century drive-in auteurs. This month, we pay our humble tribute to Mr. Vraney with a double bill of gems from the Something Weird catalog.

First up: Doris Wishman's sci-fi/nudist saga Nude on The Moon (1961), in which an intrepid pair of scientists whose journey leads them to a thriving female tribe of sensuous moon-bathers. Then, catch a glimpse of youth gone wild in Herschell Gordon Lewis's delirious juvenile delinquent exposé, Just for the Hell of It (1968).

Get weird at Freddy's and remember one of the lower cinema's greatest pioneers. With trivia, authentic drive-in atmosphere, and Freddy’s always awesome Happy Hour!
