Open Stage at Brooklyn Conservatory of Music

Location: 58 7th avenue, Park Slope, Brooklyn.

DEBUTING FRIDAY, AUGUST 2nd @ 7:00 PM (6:30 signup)

An open mic event for all types of musicians to perform original or improvisational music -- either solo or with others -- and to share their talents with a community of musicians.  In addition to offering a concert hall stage, Open Stage will give performers access to multiple instruments including a piano and a drum set to encourage ensemble performances and jam sessions, as well as a full sound system.  Musicians can therefore bring their own instruments or they can use ours.  Open Stage will also be streamed live on livlivemusic.com and a video of the show will be available to performers for purchase.  This event is BYOB.  More info:  www.bqcm.org/openstage.htm
