Person Falls Onto Tracks At Atlantic Ave. Station, MTA Says
2 and 3 train service temporarily changed as emergency responders rescued someone who had fallen on the tracks at Atlantic Avenue.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — A person who fell onto the subway tracks at Atlantic Avenue was rescued safely, MTA officials said.
Transit officials switched 2 and 3 trains to the express track from Franklin to Atlantic avenue just before 3 p.m. on Friday because somebody had fallen onto the tracks at the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station, according to MTA tweets.
The person was safely rescued by emergency responders about 20 minutes later.

An FDNY spokesperson was not immediately available for details about the rescue or the person's fall.
