All of the 30-plus shops and restaurants, public beach, parking and amenities visitors have come to expect from Pier Village are open, including the bustling boardwalk, Festival Plaza, Bungalow Hotel (www.bungalowhotel.net), Le Club beach club and more. Pier Village sustained little-to-no damage during Hurricane Sandy and has been open since November. Oceanfront dining options for guests this summer include Avenue (www.leclubavenue.com), a Parisian-style brasserie, Sirena Ristorante (www.sirenaristorante.com), featuring classic Italian cuisine, and McLoone’s Pier House (www.mcloonespierhouse.com), featuring seafood, steaks, sushi, salads and a casual lunch menu. More than a dozen additional restaurants, ice cream shops and eateries are available just steps from the boardwalk in the heart of the community. Pier Village is a family-oriented community featuring more than 100,000 square feet of shops and restaurants and luxury condominium and rental residences. Oceanfront dining, outdoor festivals and concerts and lazy days on the beach are some of the many activities it is known for. Travel & Leisure Magazine named it one of the “20 Greatest American Beaches” in 2007 and the $400 million community was again honored in 2009 with the New Jersey Governor’s Tourism Award.
