Seeing Smoke Near LaGuardia Airport? Here's Why
Those passing by the airport reported seeing huge plumes of smoke.
QUEENS, NY - A car fire near New York’s LaGuardia airport sent heavy smoke billowing into the air.
The Port Authority Office of Emergency Management said the fire had been extinguished as of 11:15 a.m. There was no impact to service.
Those who saw the smoke wondered what was going on.
