This Teen Bicycle Gang Has Allegedly Been Groping Women in Brooklyn

The teens went on a butt-grabbing spree Friday morning.

A gang of teenage boys has been riding through Brooklyn on bicycles and grabbing women’s butts, police say.

The NYPD received reports of four drive-by gropings on the morning of Friday, July 10, between 7:50 a.m. and 9:10 a.m. around Downtown Brooklyn, Prospect Heights and Park Slope.

Police released surveillance footage of the suspects this morning:

In the first groping incident, police say a 33-year-old woman was walking downtown near 122 Tillary Street ”when the suspects rode up on their bicycles and grabbed her buttocks and breasts.”

Just five minutes later, another woman was entering a downtown diner at 234 Adams Street ”when one of the suspects rode up, grabbed her buttocks and fled.”

Half an hour after that, one of the suspects grabbed a 31-year-old woman’s butt at 627 Bergen Street in Prospect Heights.

And half an hour after that, another 29-year-old woman was walking near 5 Avenue and Flatbush Avenue — on the border between Prospect Heights and Park Slope — when a one of the teens grabbed her butt, as well.

Now, a fifth victim has come to Gothamist with a similar tale.

The anonymous tipper, 37, says she was walking to work on Friday morning around 9 a.m. when ”one of the boys spanked me on the buttocks, hard, as they rode past” on Flatbush Avenue near Prospect Place. (Again, the border of Prospect Heights and Park Slope.)
