An open mic event for teenage musicians to perform original or improvisational music -- either solo or with others -- and to share their talents with a community of musicians. In addition to offering a concert hall stage, Teen Open Stage will give performers access to multiple instruments including a piano and a drum set to encourage ensemble performances and jam sessions, as well as a full sound system. Musicians can therefore bring their own instruments or they can use ours. Teen Open Stage events will also be streamed live on livlivemusic.com and a video of the show will be available to performers for purchase. More info: www.bqcm.org/openstage.htm
