Thief Grabs Wallet With $450 From Park Slope Shop's Counter

A man ran off with a woman's wallet, cash and credit cards from Mandee Boutique in Park Slope and remains unidentified, police said.

PARK SLOPE, BROOKLYN — All it took was a moment for a man to run off with a woman's wallet and $450 from a Brooklyn clothing store.

A woman, 42, was shopping at Mandee Boutique on Dec. 13 when she set her wallet on a counter, police said. It was gone when she next reached for it.

The wallet had $450 and credit cards inside, authorities said.

Surveillance footage showed a man grabbed the wallet and left the store on Fifth Avenue near 13th Street.
