Upholstery 101 with Annie Evelyn

Bring that chair you’ve been wanting to change up, repair or coordinate better with your new remodel to this three week class and Annie Evelyn will show you how to give it new life. Over the course of this four-week class you will completely re-upholster a chair from start to finish.

Students will learn to properly remove old fabric, minor frame repair, spring tying, material selection, webbing, cutting foam, basic sewing, stapling, tacking, etc. Each student will receive individual guidance on their chair during this class and guidance for the materials you will need to bring. Tools, space and guidance provided.

Annie Evelyn is the Founder/Owner/Designer at New Colony Furniture, an original upholstery studio that works with wood, concrete, metal, and crystals, New Colony Furniture presents a whole series of soft/hard upholstered chairs.
