2 Men Attacked, Stabbed in Patchogue

The incidents occurred early Sunday; one in front of a bar and the other at a nearby 7-Eleven, police say.

PATCHOGUE, NY - It was a bloody Sunday morning in Patchogue as two men were stabbed by a group of attackers.

Police will only say they are investigating whether the two incidents are related, but they occurred at the same time and right across the street from each other.

According to police, at 4:45 a.m., approximately six men approached a man and ripped his necklace off his neck in front of Sajuma Bar located at 290 E. Main Street, at the corner of Bay Avenue. The man was also stabbed by the group. He was taken to Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center.

Across the street in the parking lot of the 7-Eleven located at 272 E. Main Street, a group of men approached a victim and stabbed him. He was also treated at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center.

No arrests have been made. Police did not release any other details on either incident.
