Aldi To Host One-Day Hiring Blitz

Aldi, the German-based supermarket chain that continues to expand across the United States, will host a one-day hiring spree next Tuesday, Feb. 13 at all five of its Suffolk County stores.

Aldi is hiring store associates with a salary of $13.50 to $14.30 per hour depending on location, plus an increase after three months. The hiring blitz is also taking place at all stores in New York City.

Job requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older to apply
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be available to work anytime between 6 a.m. and 11 p.m., Monday - Sunday
• Retail experience preferred
• Ability to lift 45 pounds

Employees averaging more than 25 hours per week are eligible for full heath insurance benefits and dental coverage.

Aldi was recently named to the Forbes 2017 list of America’s Best Large Employers for the third consecutive year.
