Bellport Woman Charged With Killing Man In Abandoned Home: PD
The 42-year-old woman is the fourth person to be arrested in connection to the murder that occurred in April 2017, police say.

WYANDANCH, NY - A fourth person was charged on Wednesday in connection to the murder of a Nassau County man who was found dead in an abandoned home in Wyandanch last year, Suffolk Police report.
In April 2017, a man entered the Long Island Avenue residence to escape weather conditions and found 22-year-old Alan Moore, of Hempstead, strangled to death inside the abandoned home, police said.
On Wednesday, officers charged 42-year-old Sunetta Dennis, of Bellport with second degree murder in connection to the incident, police said.

She was held overnight at the Riverhead Correctional Faculty, and is scheduled to be arraigned at the Supreme Court in Riverhead on Wednesday.
Three people were previously arrested for the murder including: 24-year-old Dequanna Bates, 25-year-old Joshua Nickens, and 47-year-old Larry Dennis, all of Hoffman Avenue in Bellport, police said.

The three were each charged with second degree murder and first degree kidnapping, according to police.
