June 10th Patchogue Village Trustee Meeting Video
Another in the continuing series of videos being published for the public by the Citizens Campaign for Open Village Government has now been posted on the website of the organization.
But first some notes before beginning a narrative of time stops to allow viewers easier access to parts of the video of individual interest.
This video has been reviewed prior to posting and is a complete video of the meeting. For reference when viewing the video sitting left to right at the horseshoe: Trustees Crean, and Ferb, Village Clerk Seal, Deputy Mayor Krieger, Trustees Devlin and Hilton, Village attorney Egan. Trustee Keys not in attendance.
The video is a bit longer than an hour, several important issues were discussed and approved during the meeting.

20 min 42 seconds second public hearing: Minimum notice to affected residents of proceedings pending before the Zoning and Planning Boards presented and approved.
22 min 57 seconds third public hearing reducing penalties for situations where owners have built additions but not obtained building permits in advance, approved
25 min Taxi cab companies doing business (licensed to do so) to provide rest room facilities for their drivers while on duty, approved
27 min 2 seconds Mayor Pontieri discusses additional funding for the new foundation for the Carnegie library
27 min and 21 seconds Mayor Pontieri discussed need for increased radar speed guns in the village, village to buy same for the police who will use the new equipment in Patchogue Village
30 min and 21 seconds Deputy Mayor Krieger presents Trustee Keyes’ report in his absence, then presents his own report
33 min and 37 seconds report from Trustee Crean
35 min and 31 seconds Trustee Ferb reports on timeline for work on the Carnegie Library
38 min and 27 seconds Trustee Devlin reports and ends with seeking approval for Gerry Jam that leads to a discussion among the Board members about this event and its impact on the neighborhood among other issues

Bogack: clarification of use of new equipment by the police to monitor speeding by using new radar guns provided by the village.
