Boat Goes Up in Flames in Great South Bay
Three people jumped off the boat and were rescued, police say.

Three people were rescued after the boat they were on caught fire in the Great South Bay Saturday evening.
A 911 call came in at 6:56 p.m. reporting a boat on fire between Fire Island and Sayville.
The three people on the boat jumped off and were rescued by Suffolk Police aboard Marine Kilo.

The boaters are currently being checked out, but there were no life-threatening injuries, police said.
The Sayville, Bayport and Blue Point fire departments all responded to the scene.
