36th Annual Doll, Teddy Bear & Collectible Toy Show

Sunday, Jan. 22, 2012, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Doll enthusiasts of all ages, the Patchogue Doll Fancier's Club is hosting a sale and Doll Competition at the Sheraton Long Island Hotel, 110 Vanderbult Motor Pkwy., Hauppauge, NY. Do you remember a special doll or toy you had as a child? Chances are, you will see it at the show. Dolls for show and sale range from Antique to Modern dolls, new dolls, collectible dolls, baby dolls to fashion dolls. Vendor tables will have dolls and their accessories, toys and teddy bears for sale. Whether you are a collector, or a child at heart, you will enjoy browsing the show.

And as a special treat, the Doll Competition can be viewed at 1 p.m. Collectors have entered their dolls in one or more of the 22 categories, which include antique dolls such as German Bisque and China Head Dolls, to Modern Dolls, such as Ginny and Madame Alexander dolls. Children, ages 1 through 12, will exhibit their favorite doll, and a new category, "from the Dawn of Time to Brand New" features dolls costumed by the Exhibitor. The dolls will be judged based on RARITY - QUALITY - CONDITION - AUTHENTICITY of clothing. Pre-registration (deadline January 14th) is required to enter a doll in the competition. There is also a raffle table, where many wonderful dolls will be raffled off, to raise money for charity, so buy your tickets for your chance to win.

Admission is $6.00 per person, $5.00 for Seniors and children 12 & under are free.
