Open letter to Congressman Tim Bishop because he did not sign a letter to President Obama protecting Social Security and Medicare.
I received an email today that over 100 congress members signed. This letter, addressed to President Obama, states that these members will NOT support any bill which compromises Social Security or Medicare EARNED benefits. In looking over the signatures, I notice that yours is not among them. I am extremely disappointed in you for already agreeing to compromise away our hard earned benefits, that we worked for all our lives, before even entering into negotiations. If your vote causes any loss of senior benefits, please be assured that this will be remembered by us on election day, 2014.
