Seeking Contributions for the Staudinger Walkway Arch

Help Beautify Patchogue - Let's get the STAUDINGER Walkway Arch back.

Walkway Sign in Memory of ELOISE STAUDINGER

Since 2008 the walkway between Gino’s Pizzeria and J&R Steakhouse (formerly, The Colony Shop) had been marked by an arch in recognition of Eloise Staudinger. Eloise passed at 102, on April 17, 2010.  Eloise was the founder of the Colony Shop and the Beautification Committee of the Greater Patchogue Chamber of Commerce. The archway was taken down during recent refurbishing of adjacent buildings and was found to be in bad repair.

We want to replace the Staudinger Arch! We need $3,500! We hope to collect these funds from residents and businesses. The Staudinger Arch will be fabricated from materials designed to last and will be placed on two poles placed in the ground. The Arch will be ordered by the Beautification Committee of the Patchogue Chamber of Commerce and the Village DPW will install the arch.
