DAR Pantry Picnic and Honoring our Veterans!

Town of Brookhaven Marianne Folta Day July 27th

The Col. Josiah Smith Chapter DAR honored a Veteran today- Navy Vet Marianne’s Day proclaimed by Town of Brookhaven and presented by Councilman Michael LoGuercio! Proclamation from Senator Monica Martinez, Legislator Rudy Sunderman, Assemblyman Joe DeStefano too! Wonderful Pantry Picnic- thank you DJ Lady T ( Terry Lou Barrett) and musician Connie Rae! Successful Pantry Picnic for Veteran Families Food Pantry!! Non-perishable foods collected for The Veteran's Place Food Pantry, accessed by Veteran families. Also donations collected for perishable food.

The Daughters of the Anerican Revolution (DAR) promote the love of our country and support efforts to make our community a great place to live.
