Eagle Elementary Wins Big at Dancing Classrooms Competition
Eagle sent a team of 12 students and competed against 72 additional students representing seven schools from across Long Island.

From Patchogue-Medford Schools: Eagle Elementary School’s fifth grade students participated in a 10-week dancing classrooms residency this fall.
Under the direction of Club Advisor, Donna King, assisted by Gloria Scheib, Eagle took home first place.
Starting in December, a team of 12 students began preparing for the Dancing Classroom’s Long Island Colors of The Rainbow Competition.

DCLI's Winter Colors of the Rainbow Team Match & Festival, as seen in the Paramount Classics hit documentary, "Mad Hot Ballroom," is a team-based competition and community celebration for children who have participated in the 10-week, 20-lesson residency program Dancing Classrooms: Creating Connections. Inspiring Confidence™ during the fall of the 2017-18 school year.
