The Plaza Cinema & Media Arts Center in Patchogue is continuing its support for local musicians with a presentation of ACOUSTIC DUETS, a new project initiated by John Cino. Each musician who plays will be invited back with another musician of their choice. From an initial state the program will grow organically with each new pairing.
April 25 will feature Tom Falco and Kevin Griffin. Falco is a mainstay at Bradstock with the Waterstreet Blues Band and now regularly playing with EasyChiefs. Griffin is a long time guitarist with Reckoning and toured nationally with U-Melt, and is currently the lead guitarist in Jellyband.
May 9 will showcase Jim Fleming and Charlie Mirro. Fleming is lead guitarist for The Electrix. His side projects include The Acoustix and The Growlers. Mirro is founder and lead guitarist of Recokoning, lead guitarist in Movement and has played with John Kadlecik of Furthur.
