Art Reception: "Genesis & Apocalypse, Latino Artists' Visions of Beginnings & Endings"

Unfortunately, many people still assume that the majority of Latinos on Long Island are undocumented day laborers. The truth is that Latinos are represented in all strata of society ~ including a number of excellent artists.

Come explore and celebrate the richness of life on Long Island in an exhibition of the work of Latino artists from eight countries (Ecuador, Puerto Rico, Columbia, Bolivia, Salvador, Mexico, Uruguay and the United States) in a group show titled, Genesis & Apocalypse, Latino Artists' Visions of Beginnings & Endings.

The exhibit and reception will be at the Congregational Church of Patchogue, 95 East Main Street, on Saturday, May 21st, between 7pm and 10pm. Admission is free.
