This is a mash-up between a pub crawl and a historic walk. We will be hopping between historic locations and bars in the village of Patchogue. Prepare to learn a lot of cool stories and drink a lot of great beer as I lead you through the streets of old Patchogue. Last year was highly successful.
I would like to leave promptly at 2:00. Park at the Briarcliffe College lot (the big, red, brick building) and meet in front of the YMCA. Last year ran about 4-5 hours. The tour is approximately 1.5 miles. If you can't be there on time, feel free to meet up later. Just look for a mob of people walking east on Main Street.
Visit my blog for a preview of the selected locations (scroll down): http://rephotogenica.wordpress.com/
If you have Internet on your phone, I recommend pulling up the blog during the crawl. I posted many old photos of the spots we'll be traveling to, and it will give you better insight to the historical identities of these places.
