Contributed by St. Joseph's College

St. Joseph’s College, in conjunction with Gerontology Professionals of Long Island, will host a film series with inspiring movies about aging on Sunday, October 30, 2011. “Visions of Aging” will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. in the D’Ecclesiis Auditorium on the Long Island Campus of St. Joseph’s College.

“This may be the first film festival on Long Island dedicated to the theme of aging and we are proud to join the Gerontology Professionals of Long Island in making it possible,” said Carolyn Gallogly, Ph.D., associate professor of community health and human services at St. Joseph’s College. “We hope that many young people will also attend this festival and consider the field of gerontology as a career option in our aging society.”
