Fry Daddy's Takes Deep-Fried To A New Level

From deep-fried Oreos and brownies to candy bars and bananas.

Starting out as a food truck, Sean Abrams said the idea was to introduce unique options in a restaurant setting.

"Our concept was to bring foods you cannot normally find on a daily basis to an everyday restaurant or store front," he said.

Six years later, Abrams has transformed his food truck concept into a downtown restaurant in Patchogue.

While Fry Daddy's serves up some deep-fried favorites like funnel cake and fried Oreos, Abrams said what sets them apart is their namesake dish: fries.

"Our fries are far different from everyone else because aside from your regular tray of fries we offer gourmet fries," Abrams said. "These fries have different toppings . From chicken bacon ranch to pizza fries, or Bbq chicken fries. We also have loaded funnel cakes like strawberry shortcake or dirty mudslide . (Chocolate pudding , whipped cream and crumbled Oreos)."
