ICYMI: Man Assaulted, Robbed At Gunpoint: SCPD

NORTH BELLPORT, NY — A man was robbed at gunpoint and assaulted in North Bellport last weekend, according to Suffolk Police. The incident was reported on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 5 p.m. on Meade Street.
The man told police that someone approached him, displayed a handgun, and stole cash. The man was also assaulted by the robber before he fled. Following the incident, he was treated at Long Island Community Hospital in East Patchogue.
