PATCHOGUE, NY — Despite inclement weather, a small group of protestors gathered outside Rep. Lee Zeldin's office Tuesday to protest his alliance with President Donald Trump before a vote Wednesday by the House of Representatives for impeachment.

The rally took place outside Zeldin's district office on Oak Street in Patchogue.

"As a congressman and military officer, Lee Zeldin swore to support and defend the U.S. Constitution," organizers of the Zeldin protest said. "The evidence from the impeachment inquiry is clear and uncontradicted: President Trump abused the power of his office and obstructed Congress. But Zeldin has ignored these facts. It is now time for Zeldin to fulfill his constitutional duty to put country above politics and protect our democracy."
