Prison Inmate Found With Lighter, Balloons Full Of Drugs: Sheriff
The 24-year-old Patchogue man was found with contraband in the prison last month, according to the Sheriff's office.

RIVERHEAD, NY - A Patchogue man currently in a Riverhead jail was caught with prison contraband last month, according to the Suffolk County Sheriff's office.
James Maguire, 24, an inmate at the Suffolk County Correctional Facility, was caught knowingly carrying contraband on September 26, the Sheriff's office said.
He had balloons filled with K2 (or synthetic marijuana), a lighter, and four suboxone strips containing Buprenorphine, a controlled substance, the Sheriff's office said.

Maguire was then charged with second-degree promoting prison contraband and seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, according to the Sheriff's office.
Maguire has had several run-ins with the law over the past few years.

In November 2011, he was arrested in Patchogue and charged with second degree burglary and unlawful possession of marijuana.
A month later, Maguire was arrested again in Patchogue for resisting arrest and unlawful possession of marijuana.
Then in 2015, he was arrested in Patchogue on a charge of second degree burglary
