NORTH PATCHOGUE, NY – Police are searching for a man who robbed a bank in North Patchogue Thursday.
According to police, the man entered the Chase bank located at 472 Route 112 at 12:20 p.m. and handed a teller a note demanding cash.
The teller complied and the man fled on foot northbound on Route 112, police said.

The robber was described as white, in his mid-30s, around 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 with a solid build. He was wearing a white T-shirt, black shorts, red bandana on his head and sunglasses.
The investigation is continuing and detectives are asking anyone with information on the robbery to call the Major Case Unit at 631-852-6555.
