
PATCHOGUE, NY - Police are searching for a man who robbed a bank in Patchogue Monday afternoon.
According to police, the man entered the Capital One, located at 116 East Main Street, around 2 p.m., approached a teller and presented a note demanding cash. The teller complied and the man fled on foot through the parking lot in an easterly direction.
The robbers was described as possibly a white or Hispanic male, approximately 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8, with a medium build. He was wearing a blue hooded jacket, dark pants, dark gloves and dark sunglasses.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
