PATCHOGUE, NY — The Moody Blues' John Lodge is bringing his tour to the United States, including a stop on Long Island this February.

He will perform Days of Future Passed at the Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts, as well as other hits, on Feb. 28.

The legendary bass player, songwriter, singer, and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will perform with his 10,000 Light Years Band, from the album, and it will include a special recording by Graeme Edge and performances by Jon Davison of YES, theatre officials said. The show will also include the classic hits, "Ride my See-Saw," "I’m Just a Singer (in a Rock and Roll Band)," "Isn’t Life Strange," "Legend of a Mind," and "Nights in White Satin."

Days of Future Passed will celebrate its 55th anniversary on Nov. 10, and Lodge wanted to do something special to celebrate. In 2017, The Moody Blues embarked on a tour of the United States to celebrate the 50th, but stopped touring shortly after, "and, then very sadly, Graeme Edge passed away in 2021," according to theatre officials.

Shortly before he died, Lodge and Edge "met and spent some special time together, and at that meeting' Graeme told John how he hoped John would continue on with the music, and keeping the Moody Blues music alive," theatre officials said.

Lodge later realized he wanted to revisit the iconic album, honor his lost friends Ray Thomas, and Graeme Edge, and his other bandmates, Justin Hayward and Mike Pinder, but also wanted it reimagined for today, according to theatre officials.

The performance will start at 7 p.m., though concessions will open at 6 p.m.

Tickets go on sale Oct. 28. They can be purchased online, by clicking here, or by going to the Box Office on Main Street Wednesday to Sunday from 12 to 6 p.m.
