Pat-Med Recognized for ALS Ride for Life Efforts

Great work, Pat-Med!

From Patch-Med Schools: Representatives from the ALS Ride for Life program, including Dr. Chris Prendergast, recognized students and staff during the Patchogue-Medford Schools Board of Education meeting on Monday, February 26.

They recognized students and staff of Medford Elementary, South Ocean Middle School and Patchogue-Medford High School for their participation in last year’s fundraising efforts for the annual Ride for Life event.

Now in existence for more than 20 years, ALS Ride for Life’s mission is to serve the ALS community. As a patient driven, volunteer organization, its mission is to raise research funds to find a cure for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), support patients and their families through patient services, raise public awareness and provide the community with the latest ALS news, information, and inspiration.
