Pat-Med School Budget Vote, Trustee Election Results Are In

Patchogue-Medford residents easily approved a 2016-17 school budget on Tuesday.

The $177.3 million proposed budget was approved by a margin of 1,762-850. The budget is 2.46 percent spending increase over the current year and it comes with a 1.51 percent hike in the school tax levy.

Thomas Donofrio and Teresa Baldinucci were elected to the school board.
