• Source: 1 person shot on LIRR train in Bellport (news12.com) — LIRR riders in Patchogue faced early-morning delays after a person was shot on an eastbound train near Bellport, briefly suspending Montauk Branch service between Speonk and Patchogue. The victim, now in stable condition at NYU Langone Hospital–Suffolk in Patchogue, was shot in the shoulder as several suspects fled at Bellport station, and MTA police continue to investigate.
