Patchogue Man Arrested in Beer Bottle Assault Outside Bar

A 22-year-old Patchogue man was arrested after he struck another man in the face with a beer bottle behind a Patchogue bar Saturday morning, police said.

It happened outside Sajuma Bar & Grill at 290 E. Main St. around 5:30 a.m., police said.

The man was was struck, a 38-year-old Bellport man, was taken to the hospital to be treated for lacerations.

Adrian Gomez was arrested and charged with assault. He is being held on $10,000 bail or $20,000 bond. He is due back in court on Sept. 1.
