PATCHOGUE, NY — Patchogue Village officials will now be requiring proof of COVID-19 vaccination for all members of the public who wish to attend public meetings at Village Hall, according to the village's website.

Village Clerk Lori Devlin said that the decision was made in response to "rising numbers" and in an attempt "to provide clarification in light of varying directives."

The meetings for which the vaccination policy applies includes that of the village Board of Trustees, as well as zoning and planning boards. A member of the village's public safety division will be on hand to enforce the policy at meetings.
