Photos: Patchogue YMCA Hosts Community Day

The hosted a Community Wellness Day on Saturday at their facilities.

Patchogue and Brookhaven YMCA Executive Director Donna Boyle organized the event.

"This event is held in conjunction with our national Y 'Healthy Kids' Day' and we're bringing community wellness and health day here to Patchogue," Boyle said. "We've had a lot of families come down today and we have many different vendors participating this year."

Children enjoyed free games, face painting, rock climbing and more. Many vendors from throughout the community were available to talk to families and provide education and resources.

The event will be held again next year on April 27.
