Pedestrian Struck On William Floyd Parkway In Shirley: Police

He was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk with a non-life-threatening injury, Suffolk police say.

SHIRLEY, NY — A pedestrian was struck and injured late Friday night on William Floyd Parkway in Shirley, Suffolk police said.

Just before 10 p.m., a 2017 Nissan sedan struck a 37-year-old man on William Floyd Parkway at Camp Upton Road, according to police.

He was taken to NYU Langone Hospital-Suffolk with a non-life-threatening injury, police said.

The man was one of two pedestrians struck this weekend.
