Here are the top four stories today in Patchogue:
- The proposal to improve the air system at the Patchogue-Medford School District's classrooms did not pass. Most residents voted no on the $45- million proposal to be invested in new ventilation and air conditioning system. (Patch)
- Pinball Long Island is to be open in Patchogue. The new space is expected to be at 44 W. Main St. Services, including a vintage room with pinball machines themed with movies, music, and more. (Patch)
- Voters who need to request an absentee ballot have until Monday, Oct. 24, to apply. Requests can be made by letter, fax, or online at www.vote411.org. (CPLIB)
- Another Fall Festival is coming to Patchogue! The host will be the golf simulator bar and restaurant, Birdies. The event kicks off Sunday, featuring live music, pumpkin beers, food , and a costume contest. A 50 percent discount will be offered if you would like to golf. (Patch)
