Police Release Photo of Truck That Fled Scene of Crash That Critically Injured E. Patchogue Man
The East Patchogue man hit by the truck Monday night remains in critical condition, police say.

Suffolk police have released a surveillance image of a box truck being sought in a hit-and-run in Holbrook on Monday night that left a bicyclist in critical condition.
Police said the truck is a 2012 or newer Hino Series 200 or Series 300 box truck. The passenger side view mirror glass insert was recovered at the scene of the crash, which occurred on Veterans Memorial Highway, west of Coates Avenue, The mounting bracket and mirror housing may still be on the truck, police said.
The bicyclist who was struck, Bradley J. Samuel, 43, of East Patchogue, remains in critical condition at Stony Brook University Hospital, police said.

Detectives are asking anyone who may have witnessed or has information on this crash to contact the Vehicular Crime Unit at 631-852-6555 or call anonymously to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS.
