Police: Two Medford Gas Stations Sold Alcohol to Minor

Gas station employee among three people arrested during investigation Sunday.

Three people, including two employed at Medford gas stations, were arrested on Sunday after police say they sold alcohol to a minor.

According to police, Sixth Precinct Crime Section officers conducted an investigation into the sale of alcohol to minors at numerous establishments and three were found to be in violation.

The following people were charged with first degree unlawfully dealing with a child:

  • Sami Guleryuz, 46, of Coram, employed at US Petroleum, located at 2664 Route 112, Medford
  • Eyyup Tunaoglu, 38, of Islip, employed at BP Gas, located at 2665 Route 112, Medford
  • Christopher Norris, 23, of Coram, employed at Hess, located at 440 Portion Road, Lake Ronkonkoma

All three people were issued field appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear at First District Court in Central Islip at a later date.
